I am a young journalist who wants to tell stories that bring people to tears and action. When I tell a story, I want my audience to jump up and say “I’m going to do something about that!” My dream job description is to show people that the world can be a great place to live, and that it starts with them.

I earned my Radio Arts and Entertainment Certificate at BCIT. But even though I enjoyed learning the technical side of things as well as being able to speak to an audience; I wanted a more creative outlet. I entered the Broadcast and Online Journalism program at BCIT to gain experience in critical thinking, and to build my network and brand. I also want to hear, as well as tell people’s stories.

The current topic of my YouTube channel is showcasing the drive and determination of great people throughout history. As a journalist, I would love to continue along that thread; hearing inspiring stories, and sharing them with the world.

Next Summer, I will be traveling the US and making a documentary series on the Underground Railroad; how it saved us as a species and how it can save us again.

When I get my diploma in 2024, I will continue to find new ways to educate, entertain, and inspire the world with my voice.
